Insurance plays a crucial role in providing an extra layer of security for investors, especially in the unpredictable cryptocurrency market. The high risk of hacks and fraud in this sector underscores the importance of having strong protective measures in place.
Given the substantial investments involved in our launchpad, we prioritize implementing stringent security protocols and offering insurance to our investors against potential system breaches. The Solex Insurance feature is designed to protect investors funds in several ways:
  1. 1.
Investment Coverage: In the event of a security breach or cyberattack, this insurance ensures that investors' funds are covered, helping to reduce potential losses.
  2. 2.
Insurance Fund: Solex will allocate 10% of the total amount raised in our presale to this fund. This 10% will be used for the upcoming projects hosted on our platform.
  3. 3.
IDO Insurance Policy: For future projects launching on Solex, between 5 - 10% of the total raise will contribute to the Solex Insurance, growing over time. If the token price drops below the IDO price within 3 months, across two vesting periods, Tier 4 holders will benefit from this insurance fund, receiving a percentage of their principal capital.
Tier Benefits:
  • Tier 3 (best tier): A big % of your initial investment will be refunded if the price goes below IDO price.
  • Tier 2: Receive a percentage of the initial back if the token price falls below the IDO price.
  • Tier 1: Does not benefit from the insurance pool.
Note: Solex Insurance terms are subject to change for further enhancements.
Example Scenario:
  • A project launches on Solex with an IDO price of $0.05.
  • Tier 3 offers a $500 allocation.
  • If, after 2 weeks, the project's price drops to $0.02 (below the IDO price), Tier 3 participants under the Solex insurance will receive $150 back, 30% of their allocation. (Please note: these figures are hypothetical and actual allocation may vary depending on participant numbers. This is an illustrative example)
